  • HYDROPOWER

    Hydropower is the flow energy of flowing water, which is converted into mechanical energy via turbines or water wheels. The turbine speed is adapted to the much higher speed of the generator via gear drives. Depending on the arrangement, helical gear units or helical flat gear units are used.   • COOLING TOWERS

    Excess heat from technical processes is often dissipated to the environment in cooling towers. The heat is generated in chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, steelworks, gas plants and power stations. Whether for cell cooling towers, wet cooling towers or air condensers, Premium Stephan offers you a tailor-made solution for each of these applications. Coaxial helical gear units, parallel shaft gear units and bevel helical gear units with the appropriate motors are available for medium to high power requirements.
